From Campus to Corporate
Sudarshan conducts the annual recruitment of Graduate Engineering Trainees (GET), Executive Trainees (ET) and Management Trainees (MT) across the business functions. All the trainees undergo a 'campus to corporate' training, followed by orientation program to get introduced to Sudarshan corporate culture, processes and business functions.
Initial orientation is followed by domain induction and project allocation as per the respective functions. Each trainee has to appear for Quarterly Reviews and Final Presentation based on which he is evaluated for further promotion to managerial roles
I joined in Sudarshan in 2017 as GET initially training was given to us like production engineering, maintenance dept.
Sudarshan believes in cross functional department trainings, which I liked very much as it developed my knowledge base of business functions. I have always been given an opportunity to work with seniors and experienced, new project, new challenges with lot of responsibilities.
We feel like family here and it's been 5 years for me now. During Covid 19, employees were provided with special care and made us feel safe. We have good facilities and policies, which makes Sudarshan a great place to work.
I started my journey in Sudarshan as GET in September 2020 after getting selected from a batch of 68 students.
Many companies postponed joining of the selected GETs by giving reason of COVID but SCIL was the only company who confirmed placements of selected candidates and I was fortunate to be one of them.
After completing induction and two months trainings, I was given a responsibility in the plant with my mentor to guide and help me. Today, after 1.5 years, I have received promotion and I handle a team of 10.
